PEDDAPALLI, OCTOBER 01, 2024: Students of Pallavi Model School, Rangampalli, Peddapalli town, celebrated the Bathukamma, the festival of flowers, with religious fervour and gaiety on their school premises on Tuesday.
The students secured various varieties of flowers and prepared Bathukammas by arranging the various flowers such as Gunugu, Thangedu, Marigold, Chrysanthemums, Lotus etc in a conical shape and worshipped Goddess Gauri for the wellness of the society.
The students and teachers in their traditional attire participated in the celebrations by singing songs around Bathukamma amid tunes of traditional songs. Correspondent T Shobharani, Principal N Vani, Teachers Latha, Sowmya, Rajitha, Salma, Lavanya, and Saimalthi, Computer Operator Vennella, along with students and parents participated in the celebrations. PET Imran also made necessary arrangements for the success of the programme.
