HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 08, 2024: Students of Sri Bhavishyaa International School, Hasthinapuram, Hyderabad, participated in an engaging career counselling session organised in collaboration with Page Academy on Friday.
The session proved to be a highly engaging and interactive experience for the students. Dr Vijay Anand, an Alumnus of GITAM having 20 years of work experience with companies like HSBC and GE Capital Resourcing besides imparting training in soft skills to HDFC executives on work ethics, led the session. He has a ‘Train the Trainers’ International Certification from BIPD- London in Soft Skills and helped 16,000 + students in Career Counselling in various schools across Telangana. He has authored the book “SOFT SKILLS MASTERY: NAVIGATING SUCCESS IN LIFE AND WORK”.
Mr Vijay Anand shed light on various academic paths, including science, commerce & management, humanities, and more. He comprehensively discussed the diverse job opportunities these courses unlock, providing valuable insights into future career prospects. To motivate the students, he shared inspiring examples of successful celebrities and individuals who overcame the challenges.
A notable highlight was the “Discover your potential” segment, which introduced students to diverse career options aligned with their strength’s and interests. The session received positive feedback from both students and teachers, who appreciated the meaningful discussions on long-term planning and goal setting.
Sri Bhavishyaa International School Chairman T Srinivas Reddy and Principal L Sai Santosh expressed gratitude to Page Academy for the insightful session, which included a psychometric test based on John Holland’s RIASEC.
