Spirit of Freedom pervades in Bhagavathi and Arvintree school campuses

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2024: Patriotic fervour gripped Bhagavathi and Arvintree High Schools in Karimnagar town on the occasion of 78th Independence Day celebrations on Thursday. The campuses were decked up with tricolours and balloons to create a festive atmosphere.

School chairman B Ramana Rao along with correspondent B Vijaya Lakshmi hoisted the national flags at both campuses and paid floral tributes to freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru and others.

The students participated in captivating cultural programmes by performing on patriotic songs. The tiny tots donned the roles of freedom fighters as part of fancy dress competitions and enthralled the gathering. The thematic morning assembly reminded all of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters for the attainment of India’s independence. Speeches on Independence Day awakened the students about the achievements of a new stronger India.
