KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2024: Students of Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar, presented a special assembly to commemorate the 78th Independence Day on Thursday.
The patriotic zeal and enthusiasm of the students was evident as they paid rich tribute to all the freedom fighters who laid down their lives in this long and arduous struggle for freedom. Patriotic songs were sung by the students that instilled patriotism in everyone present. The students exhibited their pride in being Indian via the medium of presenting cultural programmes. The atmosphere resonated with the slogan of ‘Vande Mataram’.
The students also presented their acrobatic skills. The celebrations culminated with the students of the school presenting an enthralling dance performance. School Director Ch Venkatesharlu and Director Ch Pallavi hoisted the national flag. Speaking on the occasion, they lauded the efforts of the students who presented the assembly. In his message, Mr Venkateshwarlu urged everyone to work relentlessly for the nation like soldiers who in extreme adversity display unwavering and indomitable spirit to protect the borders. He exhorted the students to learn the true meaning of freedom and become citizens of upright character.
Earlier, the students participated in the ‘Prabhat Bheri’ by taking out a rally and raising slogans of ‘Vandemataram, Bharath matha ki jai and other freedom fighters’. The students dressed up as our freedom fighters and distributed the tricolours as part of Har Ghar Tiranga during the Prabhat Bheri.
