HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 19, 2024: Sister Nivedita School’s taekwondo athletes delivered an exceptional performance at the CBSE South Zone-I Taekwondo Championship 2024, held at Chettinad Public School, Managiri, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu, from September 10 to 13, 2024. Competing against the finest in the region, the school’s team of 15 talented participants brought home an impressive medal tally, securing a place in the national spotlight.
Leading the charge, Shashank Reddy and Sai Karthikeya won silver medals in the Under-17 and Under-19 categories, respectively, earning the prestigious honour of representing the school at the National Level championship, set to be held in Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, Priyanka Kumari and Sidharth Shankar showcased their grit and skill by clinching bronze medals in the Under-17 category, further enhancing the school’s reputation for athletic excellence.
The athletes were guided by their dedicated coach, Mr Tarun Nayak, and supported by Mrs. Manjeet Kaur, the team manager, whose leadership and encouragement played a pivotal role in their success.
