KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2024: Siddartha Group of Educational Institutions in various parts of Karimnagar town and Choppadandi Mandal celebrated National Mathematics Day with lots of enthusiasm on Saturday.
As a prelude to the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan, who made an exemplary contribution to mathematics, the students participated in various programmes on Saturday. Children explained the importance of mathematics through speeches and couplets. A quiz programme was organised, in which students of all the houses participated.

National Mathematics Day is celebrated on December 22nd across the nation every year to honour one of the greatest mathematicians, Sri Srinivas Ramanujan who made exemplary contributions to Mathematics. Schools Chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy along with others launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp and offering floral tributes to the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan by recollecting his achievements in mathematics.
On this occasion, the Srinivasa Ramanujan Maths Olympiad (SMOT) was conducted for the students of fourth standard to tenth class and distributed prizes to the winners.
