KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2024: The National Mathematics Day was celebrated at Sadhana School of Excellence, Jyothinagar, Karimnagar, on Saturday, with lots of enthusiasm.
As a prelude to the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan, who made an exemplary contribution to mathematics, the students participated in various programmes. Children explained the importance of mathematics through speeches and couplets. A quiz programme was organised, in which students of all the houses participated.

Mathematics can be tough sometimes, but Mathematics is the only subject that shows any problem has a solution. Mathematics can be fun, challenging, hands-on, and applicable in real life.
National Mathematics Day is celebrated on December 22nd across the nation every year to honour one of the greatest mathematicians, Sri Srinivas Ramanujan who made exemplary contributions to Mathematics. School Chairman Ch Srinivasa Rao along with high school principal Kumara Swamy and primary school principal Dhanalaxmi and other faculty members launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp and offering floral tributes to the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan by recollecting his achievements in mathematics.
