KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 25, 2025: Satavahana University Vice Chancellor Prof U Umesh Kumar formally inaugurated the Computer laboratory at the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences on the shores of the LMD reservoir in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
The newly established lab with 20 computers in the library building on the college campus has a digital library facility and software for pharmacology experiments, said college principal Dr K Srisailam
Speaking to the students, the VC said that they should make good use of the lab facility and in soon new classrooms for pharmacy students, new hostels for girls and boys will be constructed. He said that new M Pharmacy courses will be started from the upcoming academic year. Head of the Department G.L. Archana, faculty members B Bhagyalakshmi, Anil Kumar, Sunitha, Tirupati, Srinivas Nayak, Kranthi Raju, J Ashwini and other faculty and non-teaching staff and students participated in this programme.
Similarly, the VC along with Ramagundam MLA Makhan Singh Thakur inaugurated the Computer lab at the University PG College of Satavahana University in Godavarikhani Coal belt. Registrar Jasti Ravikumar, NSS coordinator E Manohar, Additional Controller of Examinations Suresh Kumar, College principal S Ramakanth, faculty members Ravi, Prasad, Ramesh Reddy, Ajay Kumar, Savithri Shyam Kumar, Yadaiah and others were also present.
