MANCHERIAL, AUGUST 25, 2025: State General Secretary of PRTU Telangana and secretary-general of TJAC Dr Parvathi Satyanarayana has stressed on the need for the formulation of Combined Service rules and provision of all types of promotions to teachers working under local bodies and the government.
Talking to newsmen in Mancherial on Sunday evening, Mr Satyanarayana said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has assured the teaching community about ensuring teacher-friendly administration in the party’s election manifesto and thanked the government for taking up promotions of over 25,000 teachers and transfer of around 47,000 teachers in the state.
Reminding that the PRTU founder president Gal Reddy Harshavardhan Reddy was the Congress party election manifesto committee member, he thanked the leader and the government for the prompt action in redressing the long-pending grievances of the teachers.
Mr Satyanararayana demanded the government to resolve the other long pending demands such as the formation of Unified service rules, the release of pending Das, the abolition of CPS, an announcement of a new PRC, resolving the issues about GO number 317 and the need to address the spouse transfer problems of 13 districts.
He also stressed the need for taking up transfer and promotions of teachers in the Model Schools and provision of minimum time scales for teaching and non-teaching staff in KGBVs and extension of similar benefits to the contract and outsourcing staff working under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan.
