HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 13, 2024: President of India Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-visit to Hyderabad to participate various programmes on November 21 and 22.
Accordingly, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari conducted a review meeting with the higher officials here on Wednesday. She directed all the officials to make all arrangements as per the ‘Blue Book’ manual and to ensure that the president’s visit would be befitting and successful.
Instructing the police officials to make adequate security arrangements and regulation of traffic and bandobust plans, she directed the fire services department to deploy adequate fire tenders at all the venues of the President programmes in Hyderabad city with adequate firefighting staff.
The health officials were instructed to deploy qualified doctors along with ancillary staff. The R&B department was instructed to take up necessary road barricading, repairs to the road and other arrangements in coordination with GHMC officials. The Municipal authorities were instructed to ensure proper sanitation around the surrounding places of the President’s stay and visit.
DGP Jitender, Home Secretary Ravi Gupta, R&B special chief secretary Vikas Raj, DGP (fire services) Nagireddy, Principal Secretary B Venkatesham, protocol director Venkat Rao, I&PR special commissioner Harish and others were also present.
