Collector Pamela Satpathy releases posters about Cooperative Week celebrations

KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 13, 2024: The 71st All India Cooperative Week will be celebrated across the nation from November 14 to 20. This year’s theme for the co-operative week is ‘The Role of co-operative societies in building a developed India.’

Accordingly, Cooperative Week will be celebrated throughout the integrated Karimnagar district. The first Prime Minister of the country Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru dedicated his life to the cooperative movement, therefore from November 14, the birth anniversary of Mr Nehru, is observed as Sahakara Saptaha week.

As part of the celebrations, Collector Pamela Satpathy released the posters pertaining to the 71 cooperative week celebrations in her chambers along with District Cooperative Officer Ramaanjaneyulu on Wednesday. Telangana Cooperative NGOs president Mohd Jalaluddin Akbar, secretary S Preeth Pal Singh, office staff S Tirumala Rao, E Manjula, P Suvarna, Rafiq Nasreen, Vanitha, Sajid Pasha, Rupesh, Amena Kausar, cooperative lecturer Venkatshwarlu, Narasaiah and others were also present.

The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) which has emerged as a role model in the cooperative sector in the country, will launch the celebrations at its main branch in Karimnagar town on Thursday morning. DCCB and NAFSCOB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, the brain behind the success of the cooperative bank, will hoist the cooperative flag and participate in the celebrations.
