KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 14, 2024: Students of Paradise High School in Rekurthi and St George International School (CBSE) in Kothapalli, in Karimnagar town celebrated the Hindi Diwas respectively with lots of enthusiasm by organising various programmes on the importance of Hindi language on Saturday.
The celebrations began with the lighting of a lamp by school chairman P Fatima Reddy. On this occasion, a special morning assembly was organised in the two schools separately, during which children performed a prayer and other Hindi activities. Children highlighted the importance of the Hindi language by presenting a short play on this occasion. At the same time, Hindi teachers described the Hindi language as the identity of India and the heritage of Indian culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Fatima Reddy explained that Hindi would soon global language as presently it is already a second language in more than 10 countries. Hindi Divas is annually celebrated on September 14 to mark the adoption of the language as India’s official language. This year the day has been made even more significant as it is the 75th anniversary of Hindi’s journey as an official language, he stated.
He said that growing apathy towards Hindi could pose a threat to the very existence of our country. Principals T Vasantha, Bhargav and Niranjan, Vice Principal Madhu and other teaching faculty were also present.
