Gokulashtami asthanam in Tirumala temple
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 04, 2026: On the auspicious occasion of Gokulashtami, under the auspices of the TTD Garden Department, a grand Abhishekam was held to Kaliyamardhana Krishna at Gogarbham Gardens in Tirumala on Friday.
On this occasion, a special abhishekam was rendered to Swamy with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric and sandal paste.
After that, Annaprasadam was distributed, followed by Utlotsavam wherein youth participated with enthusiasm in breaking the mud pots tied atop a log pole.
Devotees enjoyed the celebrations. Deputy Director of Garden Department Sri Srinivasulu and other staff participated in this programme.
In Srivari Temple: Meanwhile, in the evening between 8 pm and 9 pm Sri Krishna Janmashtami Asthanam will be performed inside Bangaru Vakili.
The religious staff and temple officials will take part in this traditional temple court.
