RAMAGUNDAM, SEPTEMBER 06, 2024: NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana celebrated Mentor’s Day on the occasion of Teacher’s Day at the Kakatiya Function Hall, with a special event dedicated to the Mentor-Mentee culture within the organization on Thursday evening.
The programme began with a tribute to former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, led by the Chief Guest, Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu, ED (R&T) along with Mr AK Tripathi, GM (O&M), Ramagundam, Mr Sanjib K Saha, GM (O&M), Telangana and all other GMs, Heads of Departments (HODs), and the newly inducted batch of Executive Engineer Trainees (EETs).
In his address, Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu highlighted the significant role teachers play as guiding figures in our lives, helping shape our path. He further emphasized the importance of maintaining a clear distinction between professional and personal life, urging everyone to give their full attention to the task at hand, whether at work or at home. He also spoke about the benefits of the Mentor-Mentee Program at NTPC, which facilitates the smooth integration of new executives into the organization.
Mentors were felicitated by the Chief Guest for their valuable contributions. Adding to the festivities, a cultural program was performed by mentors, mentees, and the newly joined EETs, which enhanced the overall spirit of the occasion.
The event was attended by senior executives, including all GMs, HOHR, HODs from various departments, mentors, mentees, and other executives.
