KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 06, 2024: Advita International School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with gaiety and religious fervour on Friday. It is believed that Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, bestows his blessings on Earth during this festival and removes every obstacle.
The event began with classical dances, where students performed beautifully choreographed routines, expressing devotion through their graceful movements. Their dances honoured Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, setting a spiritual tone for the celebrations.
The school choir followed with soulful songs, invoking the festive theme and creating an atmosphere of admiration and joy. The highlight of the event was a classical and contemporary fusion dance performance by the boys, blending tradition with modernity, symbolizing the balance between the old and the new in our ever-evolving society.
An insightful speech by the Telugu department enriched the audience’s understanding of the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, reflecting on the cultural and spiritual importance of the festival in Telugu tradition.
Managing Director Mr. Anudeep Sowgani addressed the gathering, commending the students for their creativity and dedication. He said that the purpose of the celebration was to let students stay rooted with Indian culture and traditions. The event ended on a high note, leaving everyone inspired and in festive spirits.
