RAMAGUNDAM, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026: NTPC Ramagundam commenced the distribution of eco-friendly clay idols of Lord Ganesha among the residents of NTPC Township on Friday, as part of its ongoing initiatives towards environmental protection and sustainable development.
The initiative was organised in coordination with the Regional Office, Ramagundam, and the Telangana Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) with the objective of encouraging environmentally responsible celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The use of natural clay idols helps minimise water pollution during immersion and contributes to the conservation of the sacred rivers and their aquatic ecosystems. The initiative also aimed to create greater environmental awareness among township residents and promote sustainable practices among township residents. Through this initiative, NTPC Ramagundam reaffirmed its commitment to environmental conservation and community participation in sustainable development.
