National Mathematics day celebrated at Bhagavathi and Arvintree Schools

KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2024: Students of Bhagavathi High School and Arvintree High School, Karimnagar town, celebrated the National Mathematics Day to pay homage to Srinivasa Ramanujan, on the occasion of his birth anniversary which would be observed on December 22.

As a prelude to the birth anniversary of great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, the students made models on topics like trigonometry, functions, conic section, plane and probability. Various practical activities were organised for the students such as shapes, mathematical bingo, symmetric face mask and more. The students made beautiful and creative structures with origami sheets and some others surprised everyone by creating colourful designs on grid paper using spirolaterals.

The students also participated in a maths quiz where they fought face-to-face challenging questions. Earlier, the School chairman B Ramana Rao and Correspondent B Vijaya Lakshmi had formally launched the celebrations by paying floral tributes to the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan. They felicitated students and appreciated their efforts in organising the activity.
