HUSNABAD, JANUARY 05, 2025: Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar surprisedly visited the Telangana Minorities residential girls’ school in Husnabad town on Sunday.
The Minister dined with the students and inquired about the new and increased diet charges and the food quality of the children. The students thanked the government for increasing the diet charges and were happy to see improvement in the quality of food. The students also urged the Minister to take measures to upgrade the present school which was plus 2 to Degree College.
Immediately, the Minister ensured that the students spoke to the Director of Minorities Welfare Tasfeer Iqbal and the special secretary to government Shanaz Khasim. Appealing to the students to excel in their education along with extra-curricular activities such as sports, science innovations etc, he congratulated the students who performed well in the recently conducted CM Cup sports competitions.
The Minister said that the government was taking all measures for the introduction of NCC, NSS, Red Cross and other social service activities in all educational institutions to bring attitudinal change of students towards society. Siddipet grandhalaya samstha chairman Lingamurthy, Single-window chairman Shivaiah, RDO, MROs and others were also present.
