Announces donation of Rs one lakh to eye hospital
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 05, 2024: The Telangana High Court Judge Justice EV Venugopal on Sunday visited the Lions Club of Karimnagar Dr Bhaskar Madhekar Charitable Eye Hospital in Rekurthi of Karimnagar town.
He inspected various wards and facilities available to treat various eye ailments. He was also impressed with the sanitation and hygiene at the hospital and providing state-of-the-art medical facilities at an affordable cost to the people of the region. Impressed by the track record of conducting a record number of cataracts and other surgeries, the Judge has announced a donation of Rs one lakh for the charitable eye hospital.
A Malaysia resident and Telangana Malaysia association president Saidham Tirupati has announced a Rs 50,000 donation to the charitable eye hospital. Hospital chairman Konda Venu Murthy, secretary Prakash Holla, lions Kola Anna Reddy, Mukka Sharath Krishna, Myadam Shivakanth, Battu Vinod and others were also present.
Later, the High Court judge visited the house of Lion Kola Anna Reddy and consoled the family members over the accidental death of their son Kola Aditya in Karnataka state. Kola Lavanya, Kola Ramachandra Reddy, Kola Prasanna Rani, Kola Anjani, A Ramana, Karre Rajamouli, Chindam Srinivas, Chinthala Kishan, Bomma Radhakrishna, Uppula Anjani Prasad and others were also present.
