

NALGONDA, OCTOBER 13, 2025: Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in Nalgonda organised a lecture on “Strategic Planning for Achieving Better NIRF Ranking” and “Emerging Trends in Scholarly Publishing and Research Landscape” on Monday.
The session was tailored for faculty members and research scholars, featuring insights from Consultant Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of Konda Laxman Bapuji Telangana Horticultural University and former Librarian at NIT Warangal Dr. K. Veeranjaneyulu. Dr Veeranjaneyulu shed light on the critical role of systematic planning and effective data management in enhancing NIRF performance. He provided an in-depth overview of the various NIRF scoring parameters and offered practical strategies for advancing academic and research excellence. Additionally, he explored the latest trends in scholarly publishing, underscoring the growing significance of open-access resources, high-impact publications, and the enhancement of citation metrics.
The session fostered an engaging dialogue and received positive feedback from participants, motivating the academic community to embrace a more research-driven and data-informed approach for institutional development and improved rankings.
