Distribution of Thalambralu packets and Srivari Prasadam

TIRUPATI/VONTIMITTA, APRIL 01, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has completed all arrangements to conduct the grand Sri Sitarama Kalyanam at Vontimitta on Wednesday, April 1, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Under the directions of TTD EO M. Ravichandra, senior TTD officials coordinated with district authorities to ensure smooth arrangements for devotees.
Chief Minister’s Offering
On April 1 at 6:00 PM, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will present silk garments on behalf of the State Government.

Engineering & Facilities
- Seating for 60,000 devotees across 121 galleries.
- Paramedical staff, TTD employees, police, and volunteers stationed in each gallery.
- 28 kiosks for distribution of Thalambralu.
- Each devotee will receive pearl Thalambralu, Srivari laddu prasadam, kankanam (wrist thread), and annaprasadam.
- 11 shelters with buttermilk, panakam (jaggery water), coolers, medical staff, and police for walking devotees.
- Shaded pandals and water sprinklers along the procession route.
- German sheds for 3,000 devotees near the temple for queue management.
- 21 LED screens for viewing the Kalyanam.
- 38 illuminated deity cutouts and signboards for easy navigation.
Security
- Vigilance, observation teams, fire staff (510), TTD scouts (200), and 3,000 police personnel deployed.
- 235 CCTV cameras, 12 drones, a central command control center, and 3 sub-control rooms.
- Parking facilities: 13 areas on Kadapa side, 5 on Tirupati side.
- Lighting and signboards along 21 km, mobile patrolling teams.
Annaprasadam
- Continuous food distribution from morning to night at temple and venue.
- Menu includes rice, sambar, rasam, buttermilk, chutney, curry, and jaggery pongal.
- Evening snacks: pulihora, rava kesari, Mysore pak, biscuits, karasu, banana, tissue, wooden spoon.
- 3 lakh water bottles, 2 lakh buttermilk packets, 1 lakh tetra packs.

Transport
- RTC buses: 85 buses from Kadapa (425 trips), 40 buses from Rajampet (200 trips), totaling 625 trips.
- 20 buses from traffic diversion points to the venue.
Floral Decorations
- 12 tons of traditional flowers, 1 lakh cut flowers.
- For the first time, a mini Ramayana art installation in temple premises.
Cultural Programs
- Govindanama parayana, Ramnama bhajanamrutam, and cultural performances.
Medical Services
- 13 medical camps, 250 paramedical staff, 35 doctors, 8 ambulances, fire services.
Sanitation
- 250 toilets, 3,268 sanitation workers deployed.
Deputation Staff & Volunteers
- 500 TTD deputation staff, 2,500 Srivari sevaks assisting devotees.

- Live HD broadcast of Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam for devotees worldwide.
