

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, MARCH 21, 2025: A medical camp was organized at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, at Shatrajpalli in Vemulawada mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district, to promote better health among students on Friday. The camp focused on general health check-ups, providing necessary medications, and raising awareness about important health issues like PCOD, anaemia, and the benefits of an iron-rich diet.


A team of dedicated mid-level health providers including Dr N Swapna Latha, Dr Madhu Pravachani, and Dr K Sai Vyshnavi from Hanmajipeta PHC, led the health check-ups. They were supported by health assistants G Latha, Ch Jaya, R Kavitha, and B. Venkata Laxmi, along with ASHA workers U Renuka, Ch Kavitha, and B Shailaja. Health Supervisor V Jhansi Rani played a key role in coordinating the event.
The camp was further strengthened with the presence of Principal K Lavanya, Vice Principal B Sumalatha, and Health Supervisor Sumalatha, who actively supported the initiative. Their participation emphasized the importance of student well-being and preventive healthcare.
Through this camp, students not only received medical care but also valuable guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The initiative was a step toward ensuring that young women have access to the health support they need to thrive.
