

Two-day Viksit Bharath concludes at SRR Government Arts and Science college in Karimnagar town]

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 21, 2025: The two-day Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament programme organised by SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar town, the nodal college for Karimnagar and Jayashankar-Bhupalpally districts, concluded successfully on Friday.
Presiding over the meeting, College principal Prof Kaluvakunta Ramakrishna said that around 150 students from various degree colleges in Karimnagar and Jayashankar-Bhupalpally districts participated, out of which 10 students were selected for the state-level competition. He emphasized that self-reliance is the key to achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat, expressing hope that India will emerge as a developed nation by 2047.
Kadaru Surender Reddy, the State Secretary of the Degree College Teachers’ Association, urged teachers to nurture the creativity of students and encourage them to participate in both academic and extracurricular activities. Santosh, a resource person from MCRHRD, who graced the event as a guest, highlighted that India has abundant human resources and, if utilized effectively, the country can become a global leader.
Srinithya, one of the students selected for the state-level competition, expressed her joy and gratitude for being chosen. She credited her achievement to the encouragement and support of her teachers. Another winner Swarnalatha, shared her aspiration to perform well at the state level and represent her voice before Prime Minister Modi.
The programme was attended by Elizabeth Rani, the Viksit Bharat nodal district officer; T. Rajayya, the college vice-principal; Vangal Srinivas, the autonomous coordinator; T. Srinivas, the controller of examinations; and Mallaram Srinivas Reddy, the staff club secretary. Also present were NSS program officers Kampalli Arjun, Rajesham, Padala Tirupati, and Raparthi Srinivas, along with NSS volunteers, students, and faculty members.
