Dial 1906 in case the customer notices leakages in LPG cylinders
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 01, 2024: The government-owned Oil companies viz HPCL, IOCL and BPCL in Karimnagar town conducted a cookery competition for womenfolk on the theme of ‘Mana Vantagadi-Mana Badhyatha’ in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
On this occasion, the oil companies have educated the womenfolk on the importance of usage of LPG gas properly, sanitation and cleanliness and other issues. Karimnagar-1 sales officer Mitta Ramesh, who inaugurated the competitions, said that they had conducted the competitions to educate the womenfolk about the importance of proper usage of LPG cylinders and avoid mishaps.
On this occasion, he gave several tips for the prevention of accidents by LPG cylinders. He informed the people to check the LPG cylinder during the pre-delivery, keep the stove on the platform, switch off the regulator after cooking, dial 1906 if they notice leakages in cylinders and change of Suraksha rubber tube every five years.
Senior LPG dealer Huzurabad Ambuja gas agency owner PV Madan Mohan, Telangana LPG vice president Harikrishna, Prashanth Indane dealer Bomma Radhakrishna and others empowered the womenfolk on the importance of safety and proper usage of LPG cylinders.
Locals Kalyani, Harikishan Nedunuri, Munipalli Phanitha and Chaitanya acted as judges and announced prizes to Pushkarini, Ramadevi and Sunitha. Senior dealer Deen Dayal, Raji Reddy, Anjaiah, Jaga, Ramu, Mallesham, Sardar Singh Raju, Sammakka, senior customer Ramesh, staff Pawan, Devender, Sai, Manoj, Prabhu, Shankar and others were also present. The organisers felicitated the delivery boys for the primary checking of LPG cylinders before delivering to the customers.
