KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 29, 2024: The Karimnagar Film Society (Kafiso) has reelected Ponnam Ravichandra as the president of the film society for the year 2025 for the seventh time at its 47th general body meeting conducted at Film Bhavan in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
The other office-bearers include; Kola Ramachandra Reddy and Syed Muzaffar has been elected as the Vice Presidents, K Laxmi Gautham as the secretary, Chenna Anil Kumar as treasurer, Komuravellki Venkatesham and Todopunuri Dasaratham as the joint secretaries.
The EC members include; R Venkateshwar Rao, Gagoju Nagabushanam, Annavaram Devender, T Ashok Rao, Narla Chandramouli, Madishetty Gopal, Munipalli Phanitha, Kandukuri Anjaiah, Rudra Shankaraiah, Enugurthi Ramesh, Srimanthula Sadasri, Chinta Suresh, Rachakonda Chakradhar, V Laxman Kumar and OP Raghuram. Naradasu Laxman Rao, GV Shyam Prasad Lal and Varala Mahesh would act as its advisors.
Established in the year 1977, the Karimnagar Film Society has won accolades for its services under the guidance of Naredla Srinivas and others. Senior journalist PS Ravindra and film society advisor Varala Mahesh acted as election officers.
