Doctors organise homestay with tribals and conduct medical camps in Adilabad district

ADILABAD, DECEMBER 29, 2024: Doctors from various parts of Telangana state have participated in a two-day special medical camp and provided medical assistance to the tribals covering 15 villages in KB Colony, Maleboregaon and Arkapur villages under the aegis of Kumuram Bheem Seva Yatra and National Medicos Organisation and Ekalavya Foundation on Saturday and Sunday in Adilabad district.

The doctors stayed two days with the tribals and empowered them with health education including proper hand washing, proper hygiene, good healthy habits, change of lifestyle, physical exercises to check hypertension and diabetes etc. The doctors provided treatment to over 500 tribals and distributed medicines free of cost.

During this homestay, the doctors were completely associated with the tribals and were inspired by the tribal lifestyle and traditions. Social activist and Samarasatha Vedika Appala Prasad, Seva Bharathi Vasu G, NMO all-India organising secretary Kumar Angadi G, president Dr Shankar, general secretary Dr G Surendra Babu, NMO organising secretary Dr Srinivas Gundu, Dr Saideep, Rahul, Ekalavya foundation Digambar and others were also present.

The doctors team include; Dr Srinuvas Gundu (Dodanda), Dr Shankar (Rajyampet), Dr Tejaswini (Garkampet), Dr Sankalp (Dumamguda), Dr Pramod Patel (Borramadhi), Dr Rahul (Pedda Malkapur-Jyothika-1), Dr Mettipellivar Sridhar (Dharmadugu-L Akhila), Dr Dharma Naik (Somarpet General med-PG RIMS-I-Sirisha), Dr Pujitha (Harkapour Andhguda-Srija-1), Dr Sarfaraz (Maleboregaon-Makathlal-1), Dr Srikanth (Harkapur-Archita-1), Dr Sandeep and Dr Neka (Vijapur-RIMS CMO), Dr Sai Teja (RIMS MBBS)-Dhongargaon, Dr Raju Naik (RIMS-MBBS Valgonda-Bhavani-1) and Dr Subashini (KB colony-Harshvardhini-1).
