PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024: NTPC Ramagundam celebrated the grand closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada-2024 at Kakatiya Function Hall, PTS, Ramagundam on Sunday. The event, graced by the august presence of Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu, Executive Director (R&T), and it was marked by a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting the use of Hindi in day-to-day official work.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a presentation of the Hindi Pakhwada report by Mr Adesh Kumar Pandey, Hindi Rajbhasha Officer. In his address, Mr Pandu emphasized the significance of Hindi as a unifying language for the country and urged parents to teach the language to their children, nurturing them with the rich cultural heritage of India.
A key highlight of the event was a vibrant cultural program performed by students from the Township Schools, which captivated the audience and added a festive spirit to the ceremony.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, wherein winners from 14 different competitions organized during the fortnight were felicitated. These competitions saw enthusiastic participation from various stakeholders, including employees, families, students, reporters, CISF, and ICH.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of all GMs, HODs, senior members of DMS, and representatives from the Union and Associations, with an audience of more than 300 people.
