KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: The 80th Independence Day celebrations were grandly organised at Paradise Educational Institutions in Rekurthy and St George International School (CBSE) in Kothapally in Karimnagar town with patriotic fervour on Saturday.
The Chairman of the educational institutions, P Fathima Reddy, and the Chief Guest, Lion Burra Madhusudhan Reddy, former Principal of SRR Government Arts & Science College, Karimnagar, attended the celebrations. They unfurled the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Fathima Reddy said that Independence Day stands as a symbol of the sacrifices of countless martyrs and the fighting spirit of the freedom fighters. He called upon the younger generation to draw inspiration from the great personalities who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation and contribute towards the progress and development of the country.
Addressing the students, Mr Madhusudan Reddy emphasised the importance of developing patriotism, discipline, a spirit of service, and responsible citizenship among students. He stated that the youth are the foundation of the nation’s future and encouraged students to develop moral values and a sense of service to the nation along with education.
On the occasion, students presented a variety of patriotic dances, skits, speeches, and songs, which greatly impressed and entertained the audience. The young children added to the festive spirit by dressing up as freedom fighters and national leaders.
The programme was attended by Principals T. Vasantha, A.Bhargav, and N.H.Priyadarshini; Vice-Principals Niranjan, Madhu, and Prasad Reddy; members of the teaching faculty; and students.
