
Programme conducted under the auspices of Young India Skills University
Minister for IT Duddilla Sridhar Babu took initiatives for the conduct of the programme to help local youth secure employment

PEDDAPALLI, JUNE 05, 2025: An employment training and placement program was organised at Government Degree College, Manthani, Peddapalli district, under the auspices of Young India Skills University. The programme was aimed at the youth of Manthani town who have completed their Intermediate or Degree education.
More than 100 young men and women attended the event. BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), Logistics, and HR professionals conducted interviews and selected suitable candidates. Organisers announced that the selected candidates would receive a starting salary of ₹18,000.
College Principal Jai Kishan Ojha expressed his gratitude to the Telangana IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Vice-Chancellor of Young India Skills University VLVSS Subbarao for selecting their college to host such valuable employment opportunity programs.
Professor Jonnalagadda Sudhakar, Registrar of Young India Skills University, stated that this initiative was taken up with the efforts of the IT Minister and Vice-Chancellor Subbarao to provide employment opportunities to the rural youth. He also emphasized that such programs would continue in the future with a focus on rural youth.
GDC Manthani Principal Jai Kishan Ojha encouraged students and young people from Manthani and surrounding areas to choose this college for their degree education to pave the way for a bright future, as many more such job opportunity programs are planned.
The college Principal also expressed thanks to Professor Jonnalagadda Sudhakar, the BFSI and Logistics corporate trainers, and the HR managers who attended the program. Faculty and staff of the college also participated in the event.
