JAGTIAL, APRIL 11, 2025: Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, paid floral tributes to Social Reformer Jyothirao Phule on his birth anniversary celebrations on Friday.
The programme was presided over by incharge principal Pramod Kumar, vice principal G Chandraiah, Senior faculty Raheem, NSS Programme officers N Sangeeta Rani, D Sujatha, N Vasavi, Neeraja, Mallikarjun and other faculty were present.
On this occasion, the speakers recollected the services rendered by Jyothirao Phule, who encouraged women’s education, widow marriages, the fight against untouchability and other reforms for the upliftment of the downtrodden community.
