GDC Agraharam Commerce Students Excel in State Level JIGNASA Competitions

RAJANNA SIRCILLA, APRIL 04, 2024:  The Commerce Students of Government Degree College Sircilla (Agraharam) have presented their Study Project in effective manner through PPT at State Level JIGNASA Study Projects Presentation and Selections held at RUSA Building at Nampally Hyderabad and grabbed the attention and applause of the Judges.

The Commerce Students – V. Sushma, M. Laharika, E. Rajesh, P. Anirudh and G. Yashwanth Kumar- have carried out a Student Project entitled ‘Impact of Rythu Bandhu Scheme on Farmers: A Study of Rajanna Sircilla District’ under the supervision of the Head Department of Commerce M. Malla Reddy and has been selected for State Level Presentation and Selections. Students have highlighted the findings of the study such as the present Rythu Bandhu amount is not sufficient, there should be a ceiling on a number of acres of land for RBS and assistance should be provided to the tenant farmers as well.

Students also suggested that Rythu Bandhu Scheme (RBS) Amount should be increased and extensive awareness should be created among the farmers on crop insurance. Supervisor and Students received Appreciation Certificates from Collegiate Education RJD Prof. Yadagiri, AGO Prof. P. Balabhasker and Commerce Judges Prof. D. Chennappa.
