HYDERABAD, MAY 28, 2025: Officials of the Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, conducted a raid on an unlicensed premises located in Polepally Village, Jadcherla Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, and seized drugs that were illegally stocked for sale.
Following credible information regarding the illegal stocking and sale of medicines, the DCA officials conducted a raid at an unlicensed premises located at Vasu Clinic, Polepally Village, Jadcherla Mandal, Mahabubnagar District on Tuesday. Lingampeta Sreenivasulu was found to be stocking drugs for sale at the said premises without holding a drug licence.
During the raid, the DCA officers detected the unauthorised stocking of a large quantity of medicines intended for sale. A total of 12 varieties of medicines were found at the premises, including antibiotics, analgesics, and steroids. The officers seized the stock, worth Rs. 50,000. Mohd Rafhi Shaik, Drugs Inspector, Jadcherla, carried out the raid under the supervision of B. Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Director, Mahabubnagar.
