
PEDDAPALLI, MAY 28, 2025: Sunitha Jaikumar Srinivasan, Senior Member of Sanyukta Mahila Samithi, and Ranjana Dua, President of Dakshin Deepanjali Mahila Samithi, graced the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) Workshop 2025 at NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana.
The visit commenced with a vibrant cultural programme at the Kakatiya Function Hall, where the GEM participants showcased their talents through dance performances, songs, speeches, skits, yoga, and karate.

Addressing the students, Mrs Srinivasan encouraged them to carry forward the positive habits they developed during the workshop even after returning home. She urged them to limit mobile phone usage and share their learning experiences with friends.
The dignitaries visited the classrooms, interacted with the students, and enquired about their learning. They observed the students’ artworks and distributed chocolates to both the students and teachers in appreciation of their dedication and creativity.
They also inspected the GEM venue, including the dormitories, dining area, and control room, and commended the NTPC Ramagundam management for their excellent arrangements and wholehearted efforts. The interaction infused the GEM girls with fresh motivation and determination to pursue their aspirations with greater focus.
The event concluded with a tree plantation ceremony, marking a green and hopeful end to their inspiring two-day engagement.
