HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 23, 2026: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju addressed a programme organised by the Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Telangana, at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, today on the global impact of El Niño and the preventive measures required to safeguard public health and safety.
The Chief Secretary directed the implementation of an intensive statewide public awareness campaign, covering every village and town, with the active participation of all DPROs and Telangana Samskruthika Saradhi artists. The campaign will leverage print, electronic, outdoor and social media, alongside cultural programmes, to ensure widespread dissemination of precautionary measures.
The emphasis is on statewide outreach, public preparedness and timely communication to ensure that precautionary advisories reach every section of society across Telangana.
