RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 26, 2024: The Constitution day or “Samvidhan Diwas’ was celebrated at Government Degree and PG College, Gambhiraopet, Rajanna-Sircilla district on Tuesday.
It was on this day in 1949, that the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India drafted by Dr BR Ambedkar, known as the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Speaking on the occasion, College Principal V Vijayalakshmi said that people should uphold the significant values of the Indian constitution and the younger generation should be more aware of it. HoD of Political Science Paka Dharmapuri enlightened the students on the importance of the Constitution. Vice Principal M Prabhakar, IQAC coordinator Y Anjaneyulu, WEC coordinator V Vani, TSKC convenor J Sravan Kumar, faculty members Adhi Vishnu,. KV Bikshamaiah, Manohar, Srinivas, Krishna Prasad, Mahesh, Shailaja, Bhargavi, Deepika, Ramulu, Mahesh, Jagannadham, Srinivas and others were also present.
