RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 26, 2024: The National Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas was celebrated by the NSS unit of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women in Shatrajpalli in Vemulawada temple town on Tuesday.
On the occasion, the College organised a programme to create awareness of some of the salient features of the statute. The students enacted several plays to highlight the importance of the Constitution. Principal PSR Sharma, Vice Principal B Sumalatha, NSS Programme officer V Swapna, advisory council members R Deepti and G Swapna and others were also present.
Faculty members spoke to the students and briefed them about the contributions made by the founding fathers. They presented an overview of the Indian constitution with details of how the Constitution came into existence.
