KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 24, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has formally inaugurated the district-level Yoga competitions conducted by district Yoga association at Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector elaborated on the benefits of the practice of Yoga and its recognition throughout the world. In order to keep our mind and body fit and the soul free, we should make it a habit to regularly practice Yoga, she emphasized. She said that the students of Regional Sports School in Karimnagar town have never ever failed in any examinations as they practice Yoga along with their regular sports activities.
District Yoga Association President S Ravinder Singh explained about the activities of the association and transformation of several national Yoga players from the district since last 20 years. Association general secretary Sidda Reddy, DSDO Srinivas Goud, Telagnana Judo association general secretary G Janardhan Reddy, district wrestl.ing association general secretary T Ramesh Reddy, DEO office superintendent M Narasimha Swamy and others were also present.
