Janmashtami celebrated with lots of joy at Pallavi Model School in Peddapalli

PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 24, 2024: The spirit of Janmashtami, the joyous celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, came alive at the Pallavi Model School, Nimmanapalli, Peddapalli, as the students of PES Rangampalli and Nimmanapalli participated in the celebrations, dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, Gopikas and Sudama engaged in a variety of cultural activities on Saturday.

The school campuses were adorned with vibrant decorations, depicting the life and times of Lord Krishna. To the delight of the audience, the children performed a mesmerising dance to the tune of popular Krishna bhajans. The rhythmic movements and colourful costumes left everyone spellbound. One of the most exciting moments of the day was to break a “dahi handi.” The day concluded with a delightful feast of traditional sweets and snacks, allowing the children to savour the flavours associated with Janmashtami.

The celebrations featured a captivating cultural programme performed by the students, portraying the profound bond between Lord Krishna and his mother Yashoda along with his cherished friendship with Sudama. The life story of Lord Krishna was masterfully portrayed through scintillating dance performances.

The Nursery students captivated the audience with the scintillating dance forms on the popular songs of “Radha Kaisey na Jaley” and “Gopikamma” . The celebrations began with the lighting of lamp and offering prayers to Lord Sri Krishna by Correspondent Shoba Rani. She congratulated the students and parents for the success of the programme. Principal Rangampalli Vani, Vice Principal of Nimmanapalli school Swetha, teachers Malathi, Rajitha, Vennela, Salma, Anil, Sowmya, Aakanksha, Sirisha, PETs Imran and Raju were also present.
