Coal Ministry official visits NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana

PEDDAPALLI, MARCH 18, 2024: Vismita Tej, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, visited NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana on Monday.

She visited the Telangana STPP control room where she interacted with the Operation executives and young ETs (executive trainees) followed by a visit to Telangana boiler. She took an Ariel view of various systems from 93 meters.  Further she visited RSTPS track-hopper and discussed on the unloading issues with the Coal handling executives. She also visited to 100 MW Floating Solar and appreciated the NTPC officials.

Later, at an interaction meeting was organised with Senior officials of NTPC and SCCL. Vismita Tej addressed the gathering and enlightened with the scenario of coal availability, evacuation and logistics and she also urged both NTPC and SCCL to collaborate more closely and create a win-win situation for both.  The visit concluded with the tree plantation. NVK Srinivas, Director Operations, SCCL, Pradipta Kumar Mishra, ED- FM, NTPC, Kedar Ranjan Pandu, ED (R&T), GMs and senior officers of NTPC were present at the visit.
