Blue Bells High School launches Lab activities for students

The practical application must be to understand scientific phenomena

‘You hear, you forget. You see, you understand. You do, you remember’

KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 16, 2024: Students of Blue Bells High School, Hanuman Nagar, Karimnagar town, are presented with innovative learning experiences through laboratory activities in coordination with KI Labs on Saturday.

KI Labs founder and CEO Karim Imran formally launched the lab activities for students from fifth to tenth classes. Under the guidance of KI lab mentors and science teachers, the students performed several experiments in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology as mentioned in their school curriculum by wearing necessary safety gadgets.

Accordingly, the school management had constituted a total of 65 groups, comprising six students from fifth to tenth class. Each group is allowed to participate in at least three practical experiments. The school would ensure that at least the students participate in experiments at least twice a month and cover their school curriculum experiments to learn and understand the subject with ease.

On this occasion, School Principal Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy said that Science cannot be learnt through rote learning. Students cannot understand scientific phenomena through textbooks, she said, adding that “You hear, you forget. You see, you understand. You do, you remember.” Hence, they introduced the mandatory practical in the laboratories for all the students from the fifth to tenth classes.
