
NALGONDA, JUNE 02, 2O26: “The establishment of Telangana State is a monumental achievement born from countless sacrifices, struggles, and the courage of martyrs,” stated the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Prof. Khaja Althaf Hussain.
Participating as the chief guest at the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations on Tuesday, he expressed his warmest greetings to all citizens and the university community after hoisting the national flag. In tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives for Telangana, he urged every individual to embrace a renewed commitment to the state’s progress, so their sacrifices may not be in vain. “We have a responsibility not just for the advancement of Telangana, but for the betterment of India as a whole,” the Vice Chancellor emphasised.
He further conveyed that honouring the martyrs goes beyond celebrating their anniversaries; it calls for a life marked by discipline, social responsibility, sensitivity, and honesty. According to Prof. Khaja Althaf Hussain, the future of Telangana hinges on equipping the youth with values like respect for labour and a dedication to public service. He encouraged the implementation of self-respect, social justice, and inclusive development in everyday life, as these ideals inspired the formation of Telangana. He called on everyone to acknowledge their role in the State’s development and to strive to make Telangana a model State within the country, showcasing their talents in their respective fields. “The everlasting spirit of Telangana should guide us, motivating us to serve our State and nation with integrity, sensitivity, and dedication,” he remarked.
