Students told to participate in the campaign
Last date for submitting entry highlighting invention is August 10
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 06, 2024: In order to empower rural innovators and entrepreneurs, an awareness programme on ‘Intinta Innovator’ district sensitization session was held at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) autonomous college on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday evening.
The aim of the programme is to build the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the state. The programme was organised by JITS Innovation Cell in association with Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC).
Karimnagar District Innovation Cell Coordinator Manideep enlightened the students about the importance of participating in the ‘Intinta Innovator-24’ campaign and unfold their creativity and innovations for the betterment of the society. He appealed to the students to utilize the opportunity and government’s support. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, secretary J Sumith Sai, principal Dr KS Rao, Dean (academics and audit) Dr PK Vaishali, Institute’s Innovation cell (IIC) President M Manikandan, IIC coordinator R Jegedeesan and HoDs and faculty members were also present.
They explained how to apply for the Intinta Innvator campaign. The students were informed to send their applications highlighting their inventions in 100 words and a two-minute video clip and personal details of students including their name, village, district, phone number, name of innovation along with four pictures of innovation and other relevant details to WhatsApp number 9100678543 on or before August 10, 2024.
The selected innovations would be displayed during the Independence Day celebrations and the government will distribute certificate. Besides, the government would provide patent for innovation through Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) and if it is scalable, the government would fund the project through TSIC.
