KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 13, 2024: Sadhana School of Excellence, Jyothinagar, Karimnagar, held its annual sports day with lots of enthusiasm and fervour on Wednesday.
The event was marked by a vibrant display of athletic prowess, teamwork and dedication, highlighting the importance of sports in the holistic development of students. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to all dignitaries, parents and students. School chairman Ch Srinivasa Rao launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp.
In his welcome address, Mr Srinivasa Rao reflected on the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork, stating, “Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.” He emphasised the importance of physical fitness, holistic development, and integrity. He praised the students’ achievements in academics, sports and the arts, and acknowledged the dedication of teachers and parental support in success.
Following the welcome address, the school flag was ceremoniously unfurled, symbolising the unity and strength of the school community. The Chairman then formally declared the meet open, with his words echoing through the grounds, encouraging the students to give their best in the spirit of friendly competition. One of the key highlights of the event was the lighting of the torch — a symbol of peace, unity and sportsmanship. High School Principal V Kumara Swamy, Primary School Principal R Dhanalaxmi, PET Goli Narender and other teaching faculty members were also present.
