KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 13, 2024: Students of Alphores Tiny Tots School, Vavilalapalli, Karimnagar town, celebrated the annual sports day (Khel utsav) on the eve of Children’s day celebrations with enthusiasm and gaiety on their school premises on Wednesday.
The day commenced with a vibrant opening ceremony, marked by the lighting of the torch and the melodious rendition of the national anthem. The tiny tots from Houses presented an impressive march past. Students enthusiastically participated in various athletic activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition. The children displayed their skills, teamwork, and spirit of healthy competition, making the day truly memorable.
School Chairman V Narender Reddy applauded the efforts of the students and staff in organising a successful Sports Day, saying, “Today, we witness not only physical prowess but also the values of fair play and perseverance. As a school community, we are proud to nurture a generation of well-rounded individuals who excel both academically and athletically.”
He also emphasised the significance of sports in holistic child development. He also announced that the prizes would be distributed to the winners and runners-up of various competitions at a special programme very soon. Teaching faculty and parents were also present to cheer the participants in the sports events.
