AIFB urges government to reorganize the bifurcated districts in Telangana state

HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 28, 2024: The All India Forward Block (AIFB) Telangana state unit has urged the state government to take up reorganization of the districts, which were bifurcated in a ridiculous manner causing serious problems and inconvenience to the people in the Telangana state.

The AIFB conducted its state council meeting at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendra in Hyderabad on Saturday under the leadership of its state secretary Banda Surender Reddy. On this occasion, the meeting observed two minutes of silence and paid tributes to CPM national general secretary Seetharam Yechuri.

Expressing concern over the illogical bifurcation of the 10 districts into 33 districts in the Telangana state by the erstwhile BRS government, the AIFB has urged the Telangana government to reorganize the districts as several of them lost their identity including Karimnagar district. The meeting said that the legislators were separated into three to four districts following bifurcation affecting the smooth conduct of administration.

The AIFB had decided to chalk out strategies demanding the Congress to fulfill its poll promises on October 21 which is celebrated as Azad Hind Diwas.  The meeting stated that the majority of farmers were unable to secure crop loan waiver schemes due to non-coordination among various departments.

The AIFB also found fault with the Congress which opposed the defection of legislators and now encouraging the same after attaining the power. The AIFB had elected the lawyer M Jawed Latif as the party chairman in place of RV Prasad who was promoted to the central committee of the party.
