A 10-day training programme on ‘Finance & Accounting’ begins at Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous) in association with Genpact

WARANGAL, FEBRUARY 10, 2025: The Kakatiya Government Degree College (Autonomous), Warangal, in association with the Genpact has formally inaugurated the 10-day specialised training programme on ‘Finance and Accounting’ for the benefit of B Com and BBA students on Monday to enhance the students employability skills by equipping them with industry-related requirements.

The training programme was formally inaugurated by Principal G Raja Reddy along with TSKC Coordinator D Rajashekhar, Placement Officer A Anil Kumar, JKC Mentor P Sagar, representatives from the Genpact viz Manjula, Geetha, and Trainer Jeevan, actively participated in the session.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal emphasized the importance of such training programmes in bridging the gap between academia and industry. The TSKC coordinator highlighted how the Telangana Skills & Knowledge Centre (TSKC) is facilitating opportunities for students to secure placements in reputed companies. The Placement Officer assured continuous efforts in organizing career-oriented programs to benefit students.

The Genpact representatives shared insights into the finance and accounting domain and encouraged students to utilize this opportunity for career growth. Trainer Jeevan conducted an engaging introductory session, outlining the training modules and expected outcomes.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who expressed their eagerness to acquire practical knowledge and industry exposure. The 10-day training will focus on key financial concepts, accounting principles, and corporate work culture, providing students with hands-on experience to improve their job readiness. This initiative marks another step towards empowering students with job-ready skills and enhancing placement prospects.
