TIRUMALA, APRIL 13, 2025: Following the incident in which three devotees have reached Mahadwaram through Vaikuntham Queue Complex on Saturday for darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, wearing disposable white colour slippers made of cloth, action was initiated against the staff who failed to discharge their duties.
Under the instructions of TTD EO J Syamala Rao, the TTD staff and security guards at the Footpath Hall, Down Scanning Point were suspended. A proposal has been forwarded to DG, SPF, requesting the suspension of the SPF personnel for their gross negligence in performing their duties effectively.
