

Lucky, a visually impaired student of HCU, has been felicitated with ‘Shining Star of South India’ by Menda Foundation

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 13, 2025: Lucky Mirani, a luminary from Karimnagar district, has once again brought accolades to his hometown, Karimnagar. This young achiever, currently pursuing post-graduation at the prestigious University of Hyderabad, has been felicitated with the esteemed title of “Shining Star of South India” for the third consecutive time.
A Trailblazer’s Journey
Lucky’s remarkable journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and perseverance. His impressive feat in the 4th Goalball National Championship, where he secured a bronze medal representing Telangana, has earned him widespread recognition. Moreover, his academic prowess has been equally impressive, having completed his graduation from the University of Hyderabad with flying colours.
In a grand ceremony held at the esteemed Hotel Citrine in Bengaluru on April 12, 2025, Lucky Mirani was felicitated by the Menda Foundation and Sindhi Federation of South India. The event was graced by dignitaries such as Mr Arjandas Menda, Chairman of Menda Foundation, Mr Balilal Chhabria, Chairman of SFOSI, Mr Pramod Chhabriya, Mr Danesh N Chhabriya, Mr Deepak Narang, and Mr GD Prakash. The gathering of such esteemed individuals underscored the significance of Lucky’s achievements and the impact he has made in his community.
This felicitous occasion serves as a shining tribute to Lucky’s indomitable spirit and his relentless pursuit of excellence. A student of Integrated Master’s (Political Science) at the University of Hyderabad, Lucky Mirani, who represented Telangana, stood third in the fourth National Goalball Championship held in Gonda district of Maharashtra. The competitions, organised by Para Goalball Sport Association (Maharashtra), were held from December 25 to 28, 2024.
