

HYDERABAD, APRIL 04, 2025: Sri Rama Navami, a significant festival in the Hindu calendar, commemorates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Observed on the ninth day of the Chaitra month, Ram Navami is a joyous celebration of Lord Rama’s life, teachings and triumphs.

The students of the Primary wing, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated Sri Rama Navami with great enthusiasm and fervour on Friday.
The school transformed into a vibrant celebration zone, with decorations carefully crafted by the students and staff. A special programme was organised to mark the occasion, where students from classes 3, 4, and 5 sang devotional songs and recited prayers. A cultural programme followed, featuring students showcasing their talents through songs, dance and skits based on Lord Rama’s life and teachings.
Chairman of the school, Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Correspondent, Rotarian Harihara Prasad applauded and appreciated the performances. The Principal of the school Dr T Lalitha Kumari, greeted everyone and emphasized the importance of celebrations in shaping young minds and understanding traditions and cultures.
The celebration was a valuable learning experience, teaching students about the significance of Shri Ram Navami while fostering appreciation and respect for diverse traditions and cultures.
