KARIMNAGAR, MAY 19, 2024: Mohini Ekadashi, which is considered an auspicious day to worship Lord Vishnu, was celebrated the religious fervour at Sri Nilayam of Mayuragiri peetam in Tirumalanagar in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Under the guidance of prominent jyothishya vasthu and agama sashtra pandi and peetadhipathi Nalilakonda Ramanacharya, the Pooja programmes were conducted from early morning onwards. They had conducted Laxminarayana Swamy phala panchamrutha pancha sukta Narayana sukta abhishekams, Astothara aradhana, mass Vishnu sahasra nama parayanam, Laxminarayana homom and other rituals.
The devotees from Bhagathnagar, Hanumnagar, Tirumalanagar, Ganeshmnagar, Rampur and other parts of the town participated in the Pooja programmes. This day holds an immense significance among Hindus as worshipping Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi Tithi wards off all the sins. Other pandits involved in the Pooja rituals include Ramakrishanama charyulu, Vivek Swamy Ramesh Swamy, Sri Rama seva tarangini trust members.
